What is Shadow Syndicate all about?:
Shadow Syndicate prides itself on our long-standing and stable history. We were founded on day 1 of WoW’s release and have been going strong ever since. We have grown to have a reputation for providing our members with permanent homes that offer a competitive raiding experience in a mature and respectful environment.
Shadow Syndicate maintains a large raiding roster and we believe this has been the secret to our success. It allows us to continue raiding when most guilds have stopped and allows our members to have occasional absences to handle any obligations they might have without the fear of thinking they let the group down. In return it provides us an opportunity to aggressively switch out individuals who are not clearly prepared or focused to ensure our 10 man team is the best it can be for the encounter in progress. We are a guild that seeks to create an atmosphere that combines a focus on PvE progression with a realization that WoW is a game and doesn't come before real life. To that end, we typically raid 3 nights a week and require a minimum of 75% raid attendance for members once admitted.

Policies and Guild Conduct:
Shadow Syndicate has a reputation of having mature and respectful members. We expect all of our members to represent the guild in an equal fashion. Regardless of your age in real life, you are expected to act like an adult in game while wearing the tag. Actions in game, in PuG's, and on WoW forums that reflect negatively on the guild will not be tolerated. Examples include ninja-looting, racism, blatant forum trolling, etc.
Progression History:
Vanilla: MC, AQ 20/40, BWL, and Naxx (Noth, Anub) cleared.
BC: SSC, TK, Hyjal, BT, and Sunwell (M'uru pre-nerf) cleared.
WotLK: Glory of the Raider 25, Glory of the Ulduar Raider 25, Tribute to Mad Skill 25, Glory of the Icecrown Raider 25, 11/12 ICC25 HM, Halion 25.
Cataclysm: 13/13 HM Tier 11, 6/7 HM Tier 12, Glory of the Cataclysm Raider, Glory of the Firelands Raider.
Raid Schedule:
- Tuesday: 6pm – 10pm Server Time (CST)
- Wednesday: 6pm – 10pm Server Time (CST)
- Thursday: 6pm – 10pm Server Time (CST)
- Sunday/Monday: 6pm – 10pm Server Time (CST)*
*Sunday/Mondays are used as a makeup/progression day.
Loot Distribution System:
Shadow Syndicate uses a DKP system with an Officer Council Override. With a 10 man format we are a very tightknit and close group. Our system rewards the people who attend and contribute the most but still gives everyone an oppertunity at loot. It has worked successfully for us for over 5 years. If there is a need an officer will step in and distrubute loot in the best interest of progression however this is extremely rare.
